Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is processed, how and why, when you visit the leamermer.com website operated by LEA MERMER GRANİT VE İNŞAAT SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("Lea Mermer"), and the cookies used on the site. Detailed information about the quote form is provided in the Privacy Notice. In case of any discrepancy between the Turkish and English versions, the Turkish version shall prevail.

1. When You Visit the Site

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to browse the site.

• Server logs: for the site to work, our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information with each request. This information is kept for a limited period, only for security and troubleshooting, and is not used to identify you.
• Cookies: strictly necessary cookies are used for the site to work; analytics cookies are placed only if you consent (details in section 2).
• Fonts are served from our own server; no request is sent to a third party for this.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. Our site also uses a similar technology, the browser's local storage (localStorage). In this section, both are referred to as "cookies" and are explained in line with the Guidelines on Cookie Practices of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to work, do not depend on your consent and cannot be switched off.

• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, Lea Mermer): remembers the language (Turkish/English) in which the site is displayed. Duration: until the browser is closed.
• lm-cookie-consent (local storage, Lea Mermer): remembers your choice in the cookie banner so that the banner does not reappear on every page. Duration: 12 months; after that, your preference is asked again.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc.): runs only on the quote form on the Contact page to verify that the submission is made by a human. It collects technical signals from your browser for verification and is not used for advertising or tracking.

Analytics cookies

These are placed only if you select "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, none of them are placed and the Google Analytics script is not loaded.

• _ga (Google LLC): measures the number of visitors by distinguishing them from one another. Duration: 2 years.
• _ga_M1WD2BN4RS (Google LLC): keeps the state of the visit session. Duration: 2 years.

Google Analytics measures pages and stones viewed, quote form submissions (with the selected product categories only), clicks on WhatsApp, phone and email links, project filter use and language changes. The name, email, phone number or message you enter in the form is never sent to Google Analytics. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.

Third-party cookies

The embedded Google map on the Contact page may cause Google to place cookies when the page opens. These cookies are under Google's control and are subject to Google's privacy policy. No advertising or remarketing cookies are used on our site.

Legal ground and transfers abroad

• Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of Articles 5/2-c and 5/2-f of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as they are necessary to provide the site.
• Analytics cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).
• Data collected through Google and Cloudflare cookies is processed on these companies' servers outside Türkiye; see section 6 of the Privacy Notice for details.

Managing your preferences

• You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the site. When you withdraw your consent, analytics cookies are deleted from your browser and measurement stops.
• You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site (such as the language preference) may not work as expected.

3. Quote Form

When you fill in the quote form, your name, contact details and message are processed in order to evaluate your request and respond to you. Which information is processed on which legal ground, to whom it is transferred and how long it is kept is explained in the Privacy Notice.

An automatic email confirming receipt of your request is sent to you. You will not receive advertising or newsletter emails.

4. Third-Party Content and Links

• Google Maps: the Contact page contains an embedded Google map showing our location. When the page opens, your browser connects directly to Google's servers to display the map; Google receives data such as your IP address and browser information and may use its own cookies. This is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• WhatsApp: when you tap the "WhatsApp" link, you are redirected to the WhatsApp app or website. From that point on, the privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) applies. Messages you send us via WhatsApp are used only to respond to your request.
• Social media: the Instagram and LinkedIn icons are plain links; no plugins of these platforms run on the site, and no information is transferred to them unless you click the link.

5. Data Security

• All communication between the site and your browser is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Quote requests are kept in a database accessible only to authorised staff through a password-protected admin panel.
• Your IP address is not stored in raw form; only an irreversible hash is kept to prevent misuse.
• Our service providers are bound by contracts requiring them to process data only as needed to provide their service.

6. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
